Each year a family in our ward plans a Strawberry Festival where everyone goes to the strawberry farm, picks strawberry's for an hour and then goes back to their house for a big party where all sorts of strawberry dishes are served. There was Strawberry cake, cheesecake with strawberries on top, strawberry shakes, chocolate covered strawberry's, angel food cake and whipped cream... with, you guessed it STRAWBERRIES!!!
It was a lot of fun! A lot of people came and we played Foosball and enjoyed the evening together! What a good idea, but talk about a sugar high :)

what a fabulous and fun tradition! so glad you guys went and enjoyed the evening. those strawberries look delicious.
this makes me want to start something like this. too bad planning parties is so dang exhausting ;)
