Another Day at the Beach!

8/13/11
We love being so close to the beach! It's fun to take Zoey but as you can tell by her face, I don't think she gets the excitement of it all :) Still cute though!!!

Camping at Greenfield

August 4th - 7th, 2011
Shauna and I love to go camping and Zoey has never been so we jumped on the opportunity to go with our neighbors Sean, Cheri, and their little boy Noah. We went to Greenfield National Park. It was absolutely beautiful.

We had a great time relaxing by the fire, going on walks, and playing cards together. We split up meals and planned some awesome tin foil dinners, hamburgers, eggs and hash browns for breakfast...etc It was a good time! Plus snacks while camping are always the best!

One of the best things about Greenfield is that there is a Lake and it has a great "beach" to it. We relaxed on the beach, then played in the water. Zoey loved every second of it.

She had sooo much fun that she wore herself out and zonked out for a good nap!

Of course we had our little ole tent that we have had for years! Hey, it does the job.

We had great nights! Zoey slept better than ever! I think it was all that fresh air, she slept mostly through the night, only waking up once to eat! She slept in the middle of us with a million blankets on her :) I think she really is an "outdoorsy" type! Sooo happy about that! Looks like we'll have to take her camping more often!

It rained a little bit and our tent had a hard time with that around the edges. We got a little wet but it didn't put a damper on our trip.! We loved every minute of it!!!
