Fishing

April 14th

There was a Mont Vernon town "kids fish free" day at the local pond. So we took Zoey down there to see how she'd like it.

Of course the first thing about fishing is seeing what it's all about. Zoey and daddy had the first go around.

Then I got to take my turn.

Look at how beautiful it is! That's one of the reasons why we really love it here!

Zoey's really got the hang of it... she's practically doing it all by herself.

She loved reeling in that fishing line! So we'd just cast it out and she'd reel it back in....over and over again.

And I've always gotta add the hugs and "lovin on daddy" pictures!

We stayed there til the whole thing was done and they had raffle prizes and also prizes for the kids... and guess what? Zoey won "youngest participant" so she got a free tackle box full of some nice tackle! Very cool!

Perfect family activity for a beautiful sunny Saturday.
