California / Valentine Trip

Feb. 14th (Valentine's Day) 

DISNEYLAND!!!

Our 2 days of bliss at the most magical place on earth!

And then we headed off for the RIDES, RIDES, RIDES!

Feb. 15th

This weight was impossible to move. We were exhausted.

Ryan and Shannon got thrown in the slammer too. I wonder what they did? Felons!

Next we headed on down to Mickey's house and took a tour of his digs before stopping to say hi to him. And wouldn't you know that Mickey has his own band room?:

So we stopped to play for a minute. Matt was really feeling the music:

Up next: the light parade: I loved this cause if you know me, you know I LOVE lights!!! So the light parade is right up my ally!

And here is Cinderella!

Disneyland was awesome! And who would have thought that the best day to go to Disneyland would be Valentine's day and the day after! It's like everybody else had other plans so ride lines weren't long and the crowds weren't bad! It was seriously perfect!!! We also took a break and went to Olive Garden before the evening activities. We didn't want to go on Valentine's day due to long waits so we went the next day. (SIDE NOTE: I had one of those stupid moments where I asked the waitress for the "Soup with Ranch Dressing" and she was like "you mean Salad" and I was like yeah that's what I said "Soup, but I want ranch with it, not the house dressing." Once again she was like, "do you mean you want salad?" and I was like yeah, that's what I'm saying. :) Nobody even helped me out. They told me after she walked away that I was actually saying SOUP! Ha ha, I'm an idiot! Hilarious!

Feb 17th

Here is my all time favorite climbing tree EVER!!! It's so cool. When we lived here I used to hang out at this tree all the time! We used to take picnics here and stuff. I just think it's so cool!

What a fun week get-away. And what a fun Valentine's Day! We couldn't have thought of 2 better people to share it with! We had an awesome time! Hope to do it again soon!
