Playin on a Beautiful Summer Day

The Best part about our apartment in Milford was that it was right next to a big park. One day after work we had to take advantage of the beautiful day!

This is one of the first times Zoey was in a swing. She loved it. Must be a Booher thing :)

We can't wait for more days in the summer where we can have fun in the park.

Josh's visit

June 21-24

We are always happy to have family come out and visit us. This time we were lucky enough to have Josh come out and see us. We had great conversations, went out to some good restaurants, and just enjoyed each other for the short time Josh was here in New Hampshire.

Josh and Zoey hit it off. They had a great time playing together.

Josh and Shauna right before Josh flew home. This trip was the first time they met! :)

Strawberry Festival

Each year a family in our ward plans a Strawberry Festival where everyone goes to the strawberry farm, picks strawberry's for an hour and then goes back to their house for a big party where all sorts of strawberry dishes are served. There was Strawberry cake, cheesecake with strawberries on top, strawberry shakes, chocolate covered strawberry's, angel food cake and whipped cream... with, you guessed it STRAWBERRIES!!!

It was a lot of fun! A lot of people came and we played Foosball and  enjoyed the evening together! What a good idea, but talk about a sugar high :)

1st Day at the Pool

The pool is now open, and I have a feeling we'll be there a lot this summer!

Here's to hoping she'll be a little water baby like her mommy!

1st Father's Day as a Father

Happy Father's Day to Matt.

Dear Matt 

I always knew that you would be the best dad ever! Even as we were dating, I saw how you loved to spend time with your nieces and nephews. They all love you so much and I loved how they'd run to greet you cause their so excited to see you!

While I was pregnant you took such great care of me! It was just yet another thing that showed me that you would be the best dad ever...and now you are! And I love you for it!

(I wanted him to have a lil something for his office at work. So I thought this would look perfect up on his wal)

I'm so glad that I've got you to be there for my kids. I can just see it now, the daddy daughter dates, the father son camp-outs. Thanks for being the perfect man for me and for our children! Love you tons!

Zoey's first time at the park

Day at Keys Park

On Saturday we wanted to have a good ole picnic. So we got some lunch at Subway and headed to the park. We had lunch and watched a local baseball game. After lunch we headed to the playground to take Zoey on the slide and swing for the first time.

After Shauna went through the tunnel slide the static got the best of her hair!

Zoey has found out that if she cries and gives us her sad face that we'll pick her up.  Look at that face! Wouldn't you :) ?

 
Zoey was tired out after all the sliding and swinging that she took a little cat nap! 

Cream Cheese and Peanut Butter

"I cream cheesed my purse and peanut buttered my hand and bagel" were the first words of a series of unfortunate events!

:) Matt had made me breakfast to eat on the way to church: a half of a bagel with cream cheese on it and a piece of toast with peanut butter on it. They were sitting side by side on my paper towel balancing in my hand as I got in the car.

As you can imagine, with a baby you carry about 12 million things with you when you go anywhere :) So I've got my purse, my church bag and the diaper bag and I'm carrying my breakfast! Of course :P As one bag falls off my shoulder it jolts me and the cream cheese gets all of my purse and the peanut butter got all over my hand and the bagel. So I set my breakfast on the dash board so I could get all situated and cleaned up.

BUT of course we were late, so Matt didn't have any time to wait while I did that, So...

Before we even leave our apartment parking lot there is peanut butter and cream cheese on the dash, the side of the door, my skirt and then ended with both items of breakfast face down (of course) on the floor of our car :) I knew it was going to be a very good day! :)

As I went down to pick it up, my hair went forward and I cleaned the dash board with my hair then as I wiped my hair back from my eyes I strategically placed peanut butter on my forehead from my hand! :)

MORAL OF THE STORY: Cream Cheese and Peanut butter should be eaten at the table, they are not "on the go" foods! :) But it made for quite a fashion statement at church! :)
